Do I need to register to use this website?

You don't need to register to view adverts or information on this site.  You will be asked to register to post new content - that is adverts for residential property, holiday accommodation, or to advertise equipment or services on Disability Marketplace.  You will also be asked to register to set up property alerts or to post on the Forum. Your registration information is secure and will never be passed on to any third party.

How do I place a new advert on this website?

Decide in which section you want your advert to appear (residential property, holiday accommodation, disability marketplace), then click on a 'Place a new advert' link from the homepage or from one of the drop down menus at the top of every page and follow the links.  Adverts can be placed directly onto the APR website and will be live immediately. You will be asked to register before you can place an advert. The phone number and e-mail address that you include on the registration form will be displayed as contact details with your advert.

Is there a charge for advertising?

Advertising is free of charge to private individuals advertising their own property for sale or rent.  Disability marketplace adverts are free of charge for the first seven days and can be extended for up to a year at minimal expense.

We do charge for adverts placed by, or including contact details of, commercial advertisers (estate agents, developers, letting agents, holiday accommodation providers, etc).  For more information, please call us on 0207 993 2135 or email ash@thehouseshop.com.

How do I edit or delete existing adverts?

Edit advert - log onto the APR website using your existing username and password.  Find your advert.  At the bottom of the page you will see an 'Edit' link (but only if you are logged in!)  Click on this link to open the original pro forma.  Make any alterations or updates required and click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the page to save the changes.

Delete advert - once the pro forma has been opened, you can delete the advert by checking (putting a tick) in the 'Delete' box at the bottom of the page.  You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete the advert.  Once you okay this and click 'Save' the advert will be permanently deleted from the site.
