Safety is always at the forefront of the designers and engineers at Terry Group. This goes beyond rigorous design and testing standards and extends to how existing codes of practice and specifications can be strengthened to improve passenger safety for our lifts.

Since 1979 Terry Lifts has been at the forefront of defining safety standards and formulating policy and direction for disability access industry legislation. We actively work with government legislators, the LEIA international representatives and the British Standards Institute to establish European standards for lifting platforms, through floor lifts and stair lifts.

Terry Lifts are also members of the BHTA (British Healthcare Trades Association) and therefore we are obligated to comply with the BHTA code
